Moneydance App Reviews

This program has worked well for me. First off MoneyDance is what you need. The mobile capability, syncing and ability to manage our finances on a mobile device have really cut down the time we spend at a computer on the weekend. Glad to see they now support the new iPhone and Touch ID. I was waiting for that, keep the updates coming! My next request is to be able to hide my assets in mobile devices, dont really need those showing up there.

This is a very well designed and useful adjunct to their great Moneydance program.

Works so well with the desktop app, and the fingerprint integration works really well.

I just love Moneydance and have been using it for several years. But this latest update crashes immediately upon launch on my iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2!

I downloaded and the app doesnt open!!

Awesome app already, making it simple to keep my finances in order, and working well between iPhones and desktop Mac. Now you have taken it over the top by adding the feature of using the Touch ID to unlock the app. Thank you!!!

I cant say a lot just yet as I havent tried running my year end reports. However I love being able to enter receipts using the mobile app on my iPad or iPhone. It really helps me keep up-to-date!

Simple. Works great. Syncing with iPhone, Macbook, iMac and iPad is sweet. Functions MD doesnt have by design are easily added with extensions. PayPal transactions import extension is slick.

This app is incredibly functional and easy to use. It works very well with the companion software on my Mac, and you can use Dropbox to sync the two.

How come budget/graphs arent incorporated in this app?

Has been wondering if theyll integrate touchID, and next thing you know, there it is! -moneydance users for years, this app still wows me!

Its a great app, but it still needs some improvements. 1st: Option to hide cleared transactions; 2nd: Option to search in all accounts at same time; 3rd: Possibility to sync more than one year with desktop or an option to keep more days of information about transactions.

Love Moneydance but this last update populates the transaction date with the last transaction date. Whos idea was this? This is a mobile app that I use every day. Why in the world would I or anyone want the transaction date to populate with yesterdays date or a date from two days ago? It should populate with the date Im entering the transaction....period. Please fix this or Ill be looking for a different money manager. 1 star until this changes back or at least an option to populate with the current date is added.

One of the best apps Ive ever had! Thank you, Money Dance. It really gets my financial stuff together. One improvement though: It should be able to categorize expenses by the date day (per diem). Over all, great! Very helpful!

Makes entering transactions on the go easy. Integrates well with main desktop app.

Just try it for a couple of months. By far the best!

This app is great at downloading from my destop to my ipad. That being said there needs to be an option to sort your transactions. Every time I open this I have to scroll through months of future entries. If I could sort these this wouldnt happen. Also, there needs to be a search function like in the desktop version. If all this was done I could get rid of my desktop completely.

Nice application; however the default transaction date needs to be changed to current date

Id really like to be able to see my budgets on the go. Currently, you can only view your account activity more like a Mint product with the flexibility to enter transactions. If they added the ability to view budgets on the mobile app itd be a five star.

Great Job! .. I have only had this app for three days now and it has proven to be the best so far that I have used for my personal finances. And I have tried many. Thank you.
